The room was good and the location is excellent, our room had some noises which kept my wife up and there was a nearly $45 a night destination fee. If there is noise for you, you can ask to switch rooms.

DoubleTree by Hilton New York Downtown
Basic hotel. Check in. Check out. Decent location. Near Wall Street, Battery park and ferry to Ellis island… subway close. Nothing special but I don’t think it’s intended to be. Fine for place to crash and if you want anything it’s close by.

NEW YORKER BY LOTTE HOTELS
This has become my go-to hotel of late for NYC trips. Not because it's anything fancy, but the location right next to Penn Station, Amtrak, LIRR, and the A/C/E, 1/2/3, B/D/F/M, and 7 trains is so convenient. Many pilots & flight attendants whose regular route takes them to NY stay here for this reason. ...
