"The hotel is a nice place with friendly staff. Each room has its own air conditioning and it was a great thing during this summer's heat wave. Room was clean and good size, and even has a kitchenette. I did try the breakfast one morning. It offered buffet of hot food and others. It is located just steps from the Cite du Vin and a nice 50 minute walk to the downtown. But there are some good places for food so it's not necessary to go downtown for food. Overall, good. "First of all it should be pointed out that the flat is in a senior citizens home. Slightly strange but unless you keep very strange hours then it's not a problem. The building is quiet and the parking is covered by CCTV. I|t's close to one of the major roads out of the city so if you have a car it's not a problem. Apartment is lovely and airy (no aircon). Close to the tram stop that takes you into Bordeaux central and a Careforre City is close by. Kitchen is a little sparse for a major...
