"Amazing anniversary stay for 3 nights. The hotel is really atmospheric and lovely. Huge interior spaces and very well looked after. Facilities are excellent and the staff are warm and friendly. A big thanks to the management for sending us a bottle of bubbly and a chocolate cake for our anniversary. A very touching gesture. We would certainly recommend a stay in this lovely Hotel"

"Amazing views of the Danube, great service and very clean. Lovely room, good size and high quality furnishings. Mini fridge with room for few of own items. Huge safe. Good selection of beers in hotel bar. Great maid service. Enjoyed the roof terrace but reccomend booking. If you order a pizza in the bar beware they are huge and one will do two easily. (Pepperoni pizza is quite hot.) Loved the cooked and deli selection at breakfast buffet. Do egg dishes to order. Walked most places and when did use transport was very easy but would advise Budapest Go app for tickets purchases as tickets machines not easy to fine outside metro. Would highly recommend hotel and area. "

"We stayed at Ensana Thermal Margaret Island for a night 4 family trip to Budapest with our 6 and 8 year old children. The hotel is situated on the north of Margaret Island, which is in the Northern area of Budapest. The Ensana Thermal is a lovely modern hotel, we were welcomed by a friendly reception team who took our bags and stored them for us until our room was ready. Our family room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed; separate room with sofa bed, desk and toilet for kids. Large bedroom with king size bed, large bathroom, lots of storage. Fridge/ mini bar, kettle, nespresso machine, toiletries, hair dryer, robes and slippers. The balcony was large too, with table & chairs and sunbeds. The only negative was that the balcony needed a good sweep, there was lots of dust and cigarette buts on there. The spa area to the hotel was great, it contains an outdoor pool with sunbathing terrace, indoor swimming pool, spa pool, thermal pool, sauna, steam room and aroma room. The children were welcome in the pools, but it’s worth nothing these are relaxing pools, so not for games and splashing etc. If that’s what they want, the Palatinus Strand outdoor pools are on Margaret Island and only a 10-15 min walk away. Breakfast was served buffet style, in a large and light restaurant with options to sit in or outside. The staff were attentive and helpful. There was a good selection of food to choose from to suit all tastes. "
