"Beautiful area, of course we're in Austria! Traffic through the Fernepass was atrocious, which is right near Obsteig. Construction was in process across the road from hotel and the trucks that traveled the road all night that our room overlooked were very loud. No A/C so leaving windows open was a must. "We stayed at the Hotel Alpina (H-Hotel property) in August 2025 for a night. We were upgraded to a Jr Suite and the room was absolutely amazing. It was spacious and had breathtaking views of the mountains from the Balcony. Morning breakfast was also very good, loved how the hotel was eco friendly with minimal to no use of plastic. "
