"Wonderful location for exploring the city centre. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was large, however it is definitely in need of updating. Carpet was stained, marks on walls and was quite outdated. "

"Like this hotel with plenty of parking and great location to this city centre, just a short 10min stroll. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby but the hotel bar and food is really good if you want to stay in. Great staff by the way, very helpful and polite "

"Fabulous new hotel and lovely room. Room was warm though with no opening windows and fresh air. AC wouldn’t stay on so may be a teething problem. Room was fabulous apart from that. Hot breakfast items were lukewarm which was disappointing. Plenty of choice. "

"I had a fantastic club deluxe room on the 3rd floor with a front facing view up into Lower Briggate which was awesome. The room was semi circular which made it feel really big. It had high ceilings which made it feel even more spacious and it had 4 sets of windows which open to let fresh air in. The room was well decorated and had everything I needed in it Inc: Free WiFi , a small fridge , a huge tv,tea, coffee pods and Machine , a robe , tea, biscuits , bottle of water, good quality shower gels and soaps, a small safe , iron and board, huge comfortable bed and throw, coffee table and chairs, bath & shower, usb sockets at the bedsides to charge phones. It was the best location, really central walking distance to supermarket, car park , shops restaurants the canal the train station and the hotel building itself is stunning ! 9/10 "

"Bluetooth key app wouldn’t work, room tiny, very old windows that whistled, no telephone in room, sink blocked with hairs! Reception area nice but that’s the only positive "
