Roaches and mold in the room. Desk worker claimed breakfast started at 6 AM, which worked out perfect as my son and I would need to be leaving for the entire purpose of our stay at 6:30 AM. Desk worker did not start to put out breakfast until 6:15 and finish until sometime after we had to leave. Would absolutely not Reccomend if you have any other option available.

I will start by saying the front desk person from my check-in day was quite nice and helpful. I wanted to change my check-out date but could not because I had booked through Expedia. However, they allowed me to check-in early as a way to help balance my loss of money for the last night. Additionally, I will say there was a sign qualifying the Wingate had recently been purchased and was under going a remodel. I wish I had been made aware prior to booking. In fact, I would say the quality of location reminded me of a low-rent motel with enclosed hallways. In general, the common areas of the hotel were dirty, and I only ate breakfast one time. It was quite bad. To qualify, I did not try the waffles. Also, the vending machines were mostly empty so make sure to bring your own snacks...and there was only one functioning ice machine at the location. I had a malfunctioning light over my sink and requested it to be fixed during my check-in day. I stayed a total of three nights and it was never fixed or replaced. The front desk person at the time of my request asked me a question I thought was weird. He asked if they had my permission for the maintenance person to enter my room. In short, if I had paid $40 - $50 dollars a night, I would have been satisfied and given them a 4 or 5 star rating. However, I did not, so I am given them a 2 rating.
