"This was my second stay at Ideales, the first being in a bigger villa last year. The villas are very clean, airconditioned and have lovely pools. There is a great ambience. There are restaurants within walking distance. The only negatives would be that the wifi is not great. ( This was last year too). It drops quite a lot. "Avithos resort looks as good as the photos. Chose this resort because of the kitchenette so that I could make food in the apartment and it didn’t disappoint. The kitchen has everything you need, except they don’t provide washing up liquid and sponge. It was lovely sitting out on the balcony for dinner or a drink. The local tavernas do takeaway food if you don’t feel like cooking but want to eat at the apartment. The swimming pool area is lovely and relaxing, no fight for sunbeds and plenty of...

"We loved this place. The suite was huge and spotlessly clean. The pool was perfect and beautifully maintained as were the gardens with plenty of sun loungers and separate shady seating areas. We enjoyed watching the planes takeoff and land- we were worried about the close proximity to the airport but the property’s elevated position meant that noise was not a problem. Plus there was not a lengthy transfer to the airport to contend with- a huge bonus. You really do need a car if you stay here-...

"Lovely apartments. Clean. Friendly and kind owner Christos was attentive to all of our needs. He managed to get us a hire car in peak season and sorted many other things. Cute apartments with view of the sea and views over lovely olive groves and mountains. Love the little cats that roam around. A very friendly family run mini market just down the road. "The rooms were not equipped , seriously how can you not have bottled water in the fridge when it’s 38 degree Celsius outside for your guest on arrival , tea and coffee facility was zero no coffee no tea bags .. we where on our honeymoon, we requested a double bed and got two single beds , I speak Greek and of course it was the ole I don’t care attitude and yes you have a lovely room ! NOT THE CASE … the property is dated old and the rooms need a major facelift as do does the service.."
