"The staff was very helpful, we arrived late at 9pm, We had reserved a renovated large room and they were able to upgrade to a room with air conditioning. It had a wonderful Lake view from the bed and balcony. And a brand new large bathroom, 12ft high ceilings, still in its original state. It was exactly what we were looking for. A very heritage building. Only thing, no coffee machine in the room, but amenities downstairs were excellent, and wonderful coffee and service, I brought it up to the room, then we would go down for breakfast. Restaurants were very nice, helpful staff and good food. I recommend this hotel."

"I was honestly surprised by how lovely this stay was, after reading some of the reviews. If I had known how great this hotel was, I probably would have planned to stay longer! The woman working at reception was delightful and funny. The room was spacious and comfortable, equipped with a fan, an iron and ironing board, as well as the usual amenities. The room had a balcony with chairs that was very pleasant. The breakfast was delicious and the dining room was classy and had a great view. I have no complaints at all! Highly recommend this place."
Villa Toscane

"Didn't initially realise that the property management is the same as that of the Royal Plaza (opposite) but didn't really cause much of an issue. We were still able to use the amenities at Royal Plaza. Villa Toscane itself wasn't manned but our room was really nice and clean. Staff overall were very helpful and we had a lovely stay. I would definitely recommend."
