"I was given an "upgrade" from a two-queen room to a king suite with a king bed and a fold-out bed. I was told blankets and pillows would be delivered so the fold-out would be usable, which, by the way, would require moving furniture to do so. I followed up on blankets/pillows three times, and finally, at midnight, I gave up. The "upgrade" was a lie, and I ended up paying over $400 for a space that was, for all intents and purposes, unusable. Add to that the fact that the entire lobby looked like it had been hit by a tornado, and the extremely rude staff. I will definitely not book there again, which is unfortunate because the location is ideal. "

"Parking lot was a shambles. The room I got had been smoked in and my clothes absorbed the gross smell overnight. The bathtub had mold around the caulk. I barely slept because of the smell and the thought of the room. Had I not been in the position that I arrived at midnight, I’m not sure I would have stayed. "

"Room was clean. Staff was friendly but there was some misunderstanding about check in although there was a reasonable explanation. Suggest they develop a backup plan in case if emergency, such as this. Breakfast was outstanding, freshly prepared. "

"Clean room, has full size fridge, microwave, dishwasher and sink. In addition a pull out table and small 2 seat couch. I booked a one bedroom because that’s what I needed but I can see a small family sleeping here for the amenities. The indoor pool was clean and the breakfast smelled good (we woke late both days we were there and didn’t eat). This hotel is close to the free train that takes you to downtown Kansas area and it’s close to the Royals stadium (about 15min drive). I would def stay here again."
