The staff was very helpful in resolving my needs. Breakfast was great specially the scrambled eggs. It is a very quiet place. The room was small but excellent for my needs and the price was right. They have larger rooms. The room was cleaned every day. I stayed here for 15 days.

Clean and comfortable - however hidden costs

The staff here were lovely, allowing us to check in early when we arrived. The room is perfectly comfortable for a short stay. I do wish to note that the price on hotels.com does not reflect an additional charge (approximately $20 CAD) we were asked to pay at the property. This seemed a legitimate cost charged by the property for all bookings and staff seemed genuinely confused by this not being disclosed on the hotels.com website. Hotels.com’s pricing of this property is not transparent so please be aware you will be required to pay this (perhaps more as some of the breakdown of the fee was per night) at the property.

Cool guesthouse in the heart of Miraflores

This was a pleasant surprise. The gated front entrance is deceiving as behind this is a friendly relaxed hotel with a really homely feel to it and friendly helpful staff. It is more like a well laid out guesthouse with good size rooms and private bathrooms with nice hot showers. We were on the room terrace which was nice and airy despite containing 3 living quarters. The hotel is located within 10 minutes walk of Kennedy Park, Saga Fallebella department store and the Pacific Ocean and Larcomar Area. To families or people that have accessibility issues please note that this hotel is laid out over multiple floors and there are no lifts so please ensure you request a ground floor room. Overall i'd recommend this to anyone on a reasonable budget who wants to stay in a character hotel.

Wonderful hotel in a great location

The hotel was clean and so close to Miraflores beach area. The hotel management were very attentive and always smiling. The breakfast was lovely with tropical fresh fruits served daily. I would definitely come here again.

Attention to additional charge

Taxだの、清掃料だの、光熱費だのと追加で宿泊料とは別に2000円ほど後から請求されます。 よく金額の追加料金欄を確認すると、小さく書いてありますが今まで世界各国50件ほどexpediaを通じて予約しましたがこんなことは始めてで驚きました。 客室の床には小アリが列をなして歩いており、壁は薄く、朝は騒がしく、シャワーに関しては汚なくて使う気も起きませんでした。 バックパッカーなので安ければ文句もないのですが、追加料金も含めれば圧倒的に他のホテルをおすすめします。 ただスタッフは親切です。

value for money in good neighborhood

We had a short stay but overall very convenient with a comfortable bed and spacious room/bathroom. However the shower leaked quite a bit after two showers. Also, couldn’t understand the additional fees charged as wasn’t quite to a resort standard and taxes are supposedly included in the price listed.

A nice place to stay.

On our last leg of our Peru trip we stayed at the Whitehouse. It was a nicely located clean hotel with fantastic staff. Only minutes to walk to the ocean and great restaurants. I would definitely stay here again. The king size bed was great, clean, and the room a nice size. I like having the breakfast included in our stay as it makes things easy.

Barato, pero cargos con letras chiquitas

Peronal muy amable (los dueños) sin embargo tres grandes decepciones en general: 1) A pesar de ya estar pagada la habitación, al hacer el check in me cobraron 28 dolares de impuestos y servicio de limpieza!!! Qué no debería estar ya includo desde el inicio?? No me dieron factura, solo nota al final y hecha a mano. 2) Al hacer el check out, me cobraron 7 dolares por una mancha en una cobija (aunque ya se había pagado el servicio de limpieza en punto numero 1) 3) Hay un recepcionista turno vespertino y fines de semana, mal encarado. En pocas palabras, es la primera vez que me pasa que pago por adelantado y exites cargos extras al llegar al hotel

Nice and clean place to rest after a long trip, staff courteous and helpful. Seems like is a house adapted to a hotel. The Dinning area is the garage with a roof over... I forgot one item in the room and they made the effort to contact me and make aware of my item to pick it up! Truly appreciate their honesty!

The staff was very kind and helpful. The room I had was clean and well kept. Nice wifi. However the walls were very thin and I could hear my neighbours talking at 2 a.m.

Einfaches Hotel in Miraflores

Nach zuerst freundlichen Empfang durch die Inhaber änderte sich das Verhalten schlagartig nach 3 Tagen: Mit den Worten alle Geschäfte haben geschlossen am Neujahrstag wurde uns das gebuchte Frühstück verweigert. Der Abschied erfolgte in frostiger, unangenehmer Stimmung. Das einzige was wir uns zuschulden kommen lassen haben war, an Silvester "erst" nach 3 Uhr zurück zu kommen und die Dame des Hauses wach zu klingeln. Eine andere Chance, ins Hotel zu können, blieb nicht. Aus Sicherheitsgründen mussten wir unseren Schlüssel immer an der Rezeption abgeben und waren auf das Einlassen durch die Hotelbetreiber angewiesen. Unangenehm war der ständig im Hof laufende Fernseher. Dieser war sehr laut in unserem Zimmer zu hören. Allerdings ist auch die Lage in der Nähe einer Hauptstraße mit Lärm verbunden. Wir werden in unsern Urlaub noch mindestens 2 weitere Aufenthalte in Lima haben und werden uns definitiv ein anderes Hotel suchen.
