"Great stay but HOT! We've stayed at Old Thorns a few times but sadly I won't be staying again during summer. There is no air conditioning in the rooms and the fan provided (had to request it) was quite rubbish. Our room, apart from being hotter than the sun, was great though. Massive bed and lots of room around it. Had a few issues, such as the phone not working to enable us to request a fan, lack of fridge and very dusty/dirty up-lighters. We really enjoyed the pool area and being able to read a book on the loungers."
