Disliked: Cleanliness, room comfort, communication

The worst experience of my life

I have never felt so unsafe. Stuck in the middle of Lisbon with 3 young women; our suitcases full of valuable possessions and the time ticking away. We received no information about how to get in or where to go. Scary and problematic for everyone. The hotel itself when we finally got in did not cater for all of us. It also was falling to pieces. Literally. The entire room smelt like sewage.

HORRIBLE. Listed photos do not match broken state of property. Wall paint peeling, Shower leaking (unable to take shower), blinds broken, odd smell (like nobody lived there in a long time). Lack of communication. Distance to management office is office and inconvenient. Had to travel there twice, once to pickup key and second to complain about shower as no response to emails. Only shower head was replaced but everything else not addressed.

Vores tur startede meget negativt, da vi havde modtaget en forkert adresse for at "hente nøglen" til vores "hotel". Efter at have ringet dagen før for at bekræfte vores ankomst, modtog vi en besked via hotels.com-appen om, at vi skulle ankomme til en anden adresse for at hente nøglen til vores værelse. Det tog omkring 25 minutter at gå til den anden adresse for at få adgang til værelsesnøglen, og da vi ringede for at lade dem vide, at vi var ankommet, fik vi at vide, at de havde sendt os den forkerte adresse. Vi fik tilsendt en ny adresse, og da jeg spurgte kvinden i telefonen, hvor langt der er fra den nuværende adresse til den nye, fik vi blot at vide, at hun ikke ved det, men måske 35 minutter. Da vi allerede er udmattede, skal vi nu finde rundt i en by, vi aldrig har været i, og bede en masse søde lokale om hjælp. Da vi endelig ankommer, får vi at vide, at nøglen slet ikke er hos dem, men at vi skulle komme for at sikre, at vi betalte depositum og turistgebyr, og at hendes kollega ville åbne lejligheden, når vi ankom. Det betød, at vi skulle finde tilbage til lejligheden uden nøgle, men havde brugt halvdelen af vores dag på at finde en nøgle i en by, vi aldrig havde været i. Dette er den værste service, vi har oplevet, og alligevel tilbød medarbejderen ingen hjælp eller kompensation.

The bedroom looked nice and was clean but noisy after midnight on Saturday due to discussions in the street downstairs. The bathroom is problematic since it was very smelly due to the toilet drain issue. The shower did not drain either and the shower glass door looked dangerous since it was dropped out of line.
