Incredibly helpful, kind and friendly staff. Showed a genuine desire to make guests as comfortable as possible - for example, we left the hotel for one night to go to Porto and left our luggage with them during that time. We came back the following day in the evening to check back into our new room, and they left the luggage waiting in our room. They also let us go to breakfast a little early on our flight day, as by the time it officially started, we’d have already left for the airport. Acts like these showed they really cared about us being comfortable and that made our vacation al the more relaxing!

Alfama holiday
Bright and very clean hotel with friendly staff. Excellent location in Alfama so very close to lots of attractions but quiet at night. Lovely to be looking out at trees and riverside. Breakfasts very good and generous - especially appreciated the fresh fruit . Spacious bathroom

Great location, friendly staff but poorly maintain
The location is fabulous, the staff super friendly and helpful, the free breakfast surprisingly tasty, varied and pleasant. HOWEVER, the room looked nothing like in a photo (you really wouldn’t want to spend more time than absolutely needed); the state of the room was atrocious (all walls were chipped and stained); the glass wall in the shower was probably never cleaned. While clean, there was a clear maintenance debt.

We had a great and fun experience, the hotel was very clean Marcia and Mr Moreira were very attentive and friendly. The hotel is centrally located one block from a metro station. We will definitely return.

Amazing location with very easy transport links, modern rooms with comfortable beds but what really makes this hotel Five Star is the hotel team who cannot do enough to help guests. Highly recommend

Great service
A family runs this hotel and do it very well. They're very service oriented. They offer a nice coffee service in the morning. They also offers a decent breakfast in the morning. I would highly recommend them

The best thing about this hotel, hands down, are the staff. From the second you get there you are greeted warmly, given a detailed map of the area, advice on where to go, and are honestly treated beyond that of just a guest. I cannot say enough positive things about the staff at this hotel. I was honestly blown away. The location is also great, right in the Alfama district, an easy walk to everything you need. The ammenities are nice too, clean tidy rooms. Nothing fancy but its all you need.

Perfect!
It’s the best hotel I’ve stayed at ever! I went stayed there with my mum who is very picky about hotels but even she gave them the thumbs up. They were quick to respond after I made the booking and requested a shuttle to pick us up from the airport. The driver was lovely. Once we got to the hotel we were greeted by the lovely staff. Throughout our stay they were very attentive and kind. They gave us lots of recommendations for places to visit and restaurants to eat at and how to get everywhere. It was all very useful. They Give you a map and explain all the transport links to you! The hotel itself is right next to the harbour. It is within walking distance of all the major transport links and the restaurants. The restaurants on either side are divine and I’d highly recommend them. There is a supermarket right next door too! We went everyday and the cashier were lovely. The hotel were kind enough to keep our luggage for a couple of hours till our check in time. They have a lift to the floors. We were on the first floor and right next to the restaurant which was very convenient because we could roll out of bed and go to breakfast. Breakfast was included for us and it was all very nice. The kitchen staff were very nice and friendly. There were lots of options. The room itself was lovely. It was very clean and modern. You got a nice view outside and lots of light. The beds were very comfortable to sleep in. They have a massive walk in shower.

The hotel is walking distance to the train, tram and buses. the restaurant are in no short supply around the hotel. The sight seeing is also walking distance from hotel or you have access to all transportation right in front of the hotel.
