"Too noisy. Pools must be separated for the kids only & adults. Otherwise no chance for adults to in the pools. There must be a sale point fır basic needs as there’s no food service. Providing a shuttle service for Boardwalk makes the facility premier!"
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Myrtle Beach - N Kings Hwy
4/10 Poor
"the bathroom was horrendous, the tub had big chips in it everywhere, the vent grate was completely rusted, the ice machine on my floor did not work, the television was not working and showing a "network connection error" the wifi wouldn't connect. But at lest the sheets and towels were clean and smelled nice."
"Room felt dusty, permanent spots & dirt on walls & floor, didn’t feel safe sitting on balcony, didn’t deel safe eating from dishes/utensils in room, bathroom was super small, gave motel vibes with an ocean view. Overall, would never book again. Property gives the option of $40 insurance that you don’t get back or $250 deposit that you’ll get back if there’s no incidentals. The property is already run down, I should’ve got a discount for that"
"Overall the resort is clean enough. It’s pretty outdated though. Somse rooms are really old and in need of repair and replacement and others are really fine. We asked to be moved to a more updated room and they did that for us. So we saw both stages of age. Rooms are very humid, but it’s the beach, right?
The beach view is awesome so I highly recommend an ocean front room! In fact the whole beach experience sold me on this location. The pools and lazy river are fine as well. The restaurants were just ok tho the people who work in them were very kind.
Nice to have a full laundry fscility tho we did not use it.
The music was fun.
I’d stay again for the price - was definitely worth it. But I really hope they renovate the property."
"DO NOT STAY HERE, save your money!! Where do i start? I had to pay an additional $100 for a “security deposit” obtaining to a plus one under 25yo, was not told until CHECKIN TIME!! Theres no elevator for the three tier parking garage! The kiddy pool was green, photos are not updated or true of what this place looks like!! This is like an oceanfront motel! The first room had water all over the floor and ceiling, and what appeared to be black mold on the bathroom mirror. Apparently the room had been ready for me when I called 2 hours earlier before check in. The elevator floor was coming up, that was scary. The balcony on each side wall had cracks near the floor leading to the room, looked like it had been patched up multiple times. Towels STAINED! Just DISGUSTING! Do not stay here!"
"The room was clean and good for week stay. The check in process was ok. I checked in on the app to bypass the front desk but I had to go there anyway which seemed to defeat the purpose of the app check in. Also, the digital keep worked on the door and not in the elevator but the physical key worked on the elevator and not the room lock. Crazy. All the amenities were not in one central location so you had to walk to different buildings not connected to each other to get to the gym or breakfast sight or 3rd pool which wasn't convenient at all. However, it was right on the beach but near a construction sight on the beach. Over all it was a good beach week and decent place to stay. Not exactly sure i would reserve a stay here again though."
"Everything was beyond our expectations. Only complaint was the property was non smoking but someone was smoking the entire time and it kept seeping into our rooms. We reported it and they were quick to try to take care of it, but by the next morning the person was at it again…all day and night. We could barely smell the beach breeze through the ick."
"It was a great place for the price. So many amenities available. However, the room was very musty smelling and the furniture was somewhat dirty. Comfy beds, but the pillows were tiny. Overall, I'd return, however, my expectations were much higher."
