I thoroughly enjoyed staying at Papa Whale. Having a variety of coffee down stairs is a life saver. Moreover, daily Taiwanese tea eggs is a treat. The staff is nice, the room is clean and the bed is very comfortable. The AC is powerful to fight against the hot summer weather. I highly recommend getting Taiwanese Mon Tou bread from across the street. Thank you, Papa Whale staff.

Location’s convenient to both the orange and red MRT line, and the room was certainly nice, but there was a strange smell when I first entered it. I did saw a small cockroach one night on one of the nightstands.
