"What a fantastic find! These maisonettes are fabulous. Lots of space with a kitchenette, table, decent sized bathroom and a mezzanine. Didnt use the mezzanine but would be ideal if you were travelling with children. Patio outside was lovely with table and chairs, a huge parasol and a lovely corner rattan sofa. Pool & pool bar were part of the Palatino Hotel but able to be used by the maisonettes. Both were spotless with plenty of sunbeds around the pool. The kids pool was under the bar roof so out of the direct sun. Location is superb. 10min walk to Lixouri square with all its restaurants and the ferry to Argostoli. Uphill walk on the way back but not a strenuous walk. Parking outside for plenty of cars too."

"The location was terrific, right in the heart of Argostoli. We could walk everywhere. The rooftop terrace bar had great views. The room was quiet and comfortable. The shower stall is very small, but that's not unusual in European hotels. Check in was less than 2 minutes. Breakfast was delicious and there were many options available."

"New property very close to the water where you could swim. Very welcoming owners who have created a very comfortable relaxing villa. It was very quiet and peaceful with wonderful views. Wonderful, delicious meal was created for us and some delicious baklava - home made of course - was a fabulous treat. Thank you Demitris and Dyonisos. We will be back in the future."

"Absolutely loved our stay at the panorama Fanari suites the staff are superb and NOTHING is too much trouble the place is immaculate and the breakfast is lovely Detemriou handles all the car hire from Ionian cars and he is family along with the 2 ladies that run the place If you are travelling to Kefalonia you must consider staying here . We are fortunate enough to have travelled extensively and this rates as one of the best"

"Almost everything about this resort is excellent. Spotlessly clean, attentive and friendly staff, great accommodation and pools, little outdoor cinema showing English films each evening and then there is the food. I have never been much of a fan of buffet style meals, but the food and service provided here surpassed all expectations in both the quality and quantity. Truly amazing. Vast choice of fruit and salads, local dishes, oven baked pizza, pasta and roast meats and desserts to die for. You will be going back for more ! Drinks are a very reasonable price. Half price alcohol at happy hour between 4pm and 6pm. Mine’s a mojito 👍. The only negative is that it is situated such that you either need a car to travel anywhere, or avail yourself of organised trips. We did both to see the highlights of the island and delightful neighbouring Ithaka. But I missed the typical evening stroll and window shopping. It lacks a comfortable lounge although there is a music bar. There are sofas in reception but it’s a bit clinical and the air con is a bit too chilly there. Xi beach is a short stroll away. The weather was so hot during our stay that we didn’t go there as I believe there is little shade and that was a shame, but the pool made up for it. Umbrellas are fixed so no one can take more than one per two sun beds and reserving these with towels is technically not allowed. There is also an outdoor sofa area with shade. In all a great place and highly recommended. "
