"This was a wonderful place to stay! It was about a 40-minute walk to the city center, but there is a bus stop right outside and it was very quick to go downtown that way if you don't have a car. There are hiking paths in the huge park nearby and an excellent restaurant across the street serving Slovenian cuisine. "Very much disappointed., I was shocked when I found that our room was alloted in the basement of the hotel. The room was dark as the amount of daylight enters through two small windows at ceiling height is very less. It is worth mentioning here that we had to cancel earlier accommodation and book this particular hotel hurriedly because to meet the requirements of Slovenian Consular for submission of non refundable hotel booking document for Visa approval. "Great location since many day trips pick up from here. You are walking distance from the train station and the city center and river and the castle. The rooms are clean and quiet and breakfast has a lot of choices. I had dinner at the bar one night which was really good. "

"Overall I was extremely impressed with this hostel. For a hostel I was thinking the room was going to have others staying in there but it was a private room. Additionally, the staff was great and super helpful! My only complain was the bathrooms weren’t the cleanest, but I just chalk that up to so many people using them! Besides that it was fantastic and I’d 1000% recommend and stay there again! "

"We loved it here. The hotel looks fantastic inside and out. The room was clean and everything worked perfectly. House keeping staff were pleasant and professional. Breakfast buffet is amazing. So much choice and a lovely setting. All staff are super helpful. The hotel is situated in a great spot next to the main square. Perfect for the bus station and railway station and all the sights you want to see. So many choices of where to eat nearby and the hotel itself is not at all noisy despite being in such a prime spot. Wonderful hotel!! So glad we chose it. "
