"Super cool artistic hotel. Reminds me of Barcelona. Short walk to the pier but far enough that it’s very quiet at night. Comfy bed, good AC! Great staff! Best market in town across the street. Would stay again. "

"The rooms were spacious with very comfortable beds. Breakfast was great with an attentive and flexible staff who adjusted breakfast times for an early excursion which they helped us book (a 360 island tour which was also excellent and reasonably priced compared to similar options). They were also very flexible with early check-in and departure. All around a great value for our short stay in San Cristobal."

"Fantastic place! Seconds from the water, minutes from the pier, and next to 4 restaurants. Eduardo there gave me a free upgrade on the top floor. The views were amazing! I'll definitely be staying there again"

"Awesome location, across from the beach and near the interpretation center and trails. The rooms were ok with a small fridge (that was very noisy), 20 random channels on a small TV, and comfortable beds. Great customer service when she was around (about half of the time during the day). The view from the balcony was really the best part. We booked and paid online through Expedia but apparently this property didn't get the transfer. Not sure if this was a onetime issue with the worldwide...

"The hotel is perfectly located in the center of town. The room had a balcony and hammock, overlooking the harbor and ocean. Daily housekeeping and fresh drinking water were provided. Breakfast was basic but adequate, as is typical of South American hotels. We had an afternoon ferry, so we had access to the pool, towels, and coffee and tea. There were two pools, and a pleasant garden."

"I enjoyed my stay here. The room itself is very basic but for the 3 days I was on the island it had everything I needed:hot water to shower, good wifi, filtered water to fill a bottle with and air conditioning. They also have a smart TV in the room which is a nice touch but I was too exhausted every day to ever use it. The other nice bonus was a small coffee/tea station and a microwave in the lobby common space. My tours all left early so it was nice to be able to grab some bread and fruit from the panaderia and have a little breakfast with the provided coffee even before I left. The people who run the hotel are all very nice and helpful. The only downside I could find is if you're a light sleeper and like to sleep in later this might not be the place for you. Around 6-7 am every day you could hear trucks buses outside that were quite loud. For me it wasnt a problem because I was up for my tours anyways. Overall a good stay for the price! "

From the moment we arrived, the warmth and kindness of the family made us feel truly at home. They provided personalized advice tailored to our needs, answered all our questions with genuine friendliness, and consistently went above and beyond to ensure we had the best stay possible. The location is perfect—just two blocks from the Malecón (seafront) and about a seven-minute walk to Playa Mann. It made exploring San Cristóbal easy and convenient. And let’s not forget the family dog—we even fell in love with him. Casa de Nelly isn’t just a place to stay; it’s an experience filled with hospitality and heart. I would absolutely return and highly recommend it to friends and family."

"This is a family-owned and run hotel that is next to their restaurant and tour business. We soon became family even though we did not speak each others' languages. It is next to the water and pier. We loved sitting out front and listening to the sea lions bark and watch the crabs scurrying about their business. The coveted blue-footed boobie visited each evening."
