"No air conditioner in room. Just a desk fan, on days where it was in the mid 20s outside. No lift to upper floor, just a spiral staircase! No working extractor fan in bathroom. You are lead to believe it's free parking only to be charged £5 a night as soon as you check in ! The mattress was very firm as well."

"The hotel is in a fabulous picturesque setting.
Afternoon tea and breakfast very nice. Didn’t have evening meal. Staff very friendly and helpful. Overall decor just needs slightly updating but think they’re on it. Would definitely stay again and recommend"
