"Place was clean. Staff was friendly. Pool key didn’t work and that was a bit frustrating. I asked for room to be cleaned and left for 4 hours and they didn’t do it. They sent someone right away when I let them know. Very cute place staff kind. Housekeepers not so great. Bar staff very cool also and food from steakhouse was great."
"In writing this review I have to decide "how" to compare this hotel with others. On the one hand, it's a Motel 6, so to begin with your standards shouldn't be excessively high. Comparing this hotel to other Motel 6's (or similar budget hotels), it stacks up pretty well. It's grounds were clean, although it needs some deep cleaning; for instance, the hot tub walls and floor are more green than white, and speaking of the hot tub, it is unbearably hot. No one could sit in it for more than a few minutes. The rooms were definitely above average for a hotel/motel of this class. They've been recently updated and the bed was very comfortable. Why did I give it a rating of '3'? Well, it's still a Motel 6 and it is what it is. No room service until our 3rd day. No shampoo, conditioner or lotion; just a tiny bar of soap. The towels were clean, but they were only slightly softer that sand paper. No blackout blinds and the drapes let in A LOT of light during nighttime. And then there's the smoking issue. Most of the rooms are non-smoking, but smoking is allowed around the pool and at the ends of the buildings, and as our room was right by the pool, we could often smell the smoke. So, if you're comfortable in your average Motel 6, this place is better than most. If you're comparing it to the likes of a Holiday Inn, then it would be a 2."
"Quiet. Clean. Affordable. Nice location- close to the center of town. Breakfast generally good; fresh; coffee was hot; nice selection; just need to get the oatmeal started earlier. We would stay again."
"We drove from a winery to this hotel and talk about a complete change in scenery. It became beautiful surroundings to a sketchy area. As we drove, it got worse. We got to the red light to turn and there were several homeless people. There was a beat up liquor store at the corner and a lot of closed businesses. The hotel itself looked well kept but we just could not even go in because we knew we were not staying there. I think what really made our decision was when we parked there was a metal pig in the window of one of the rooms which tells us people live there."
