Hotel was situated near to Victoria Park about a ten minute walk and across from Victoria Park was the Centennial Hall, which was perfect because my event was there. $7 dollars to get a cab from or to the train station.

Breakfast area was unclean and empty, not many options. Elevator was out of order, bathroom fan was loud. It was windy outside, even with the windows closed, the curtain was blowing. Room was hot, air conditioner was not working properly. Room was overcrowded with furniture. Shelf in the bathroom was almost falling off the wall.

This hotel is not what is advertised online. It seems like a shelter for homeless or newcomers. Upon check in I noticed that our toilet seat had not been cleaned at all. The hotel itself is run down. It didn’t feel safe.

First of all, the hotel is not as nice as they make it seem. It is old looking and dingy. Toilet wasnt cleaned when we arrived. Building is very old fashioned. Secondly, I booked with a couple of my girlfriends and for some reason my cost when we checked in, was higher than theirs when it showed me a cheaper when i originally reserved my room. The concierge blamed it on Expedia and said nothing could be done about it cause it aas booked by a third party vendor, but later realized it was the hotels fault for only charging me for parking. There are homeless people around the property and wander in the lobby at night. Not the best area to stay in. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody. We went to get dinner down the street and was almost attacked by a homeless man. Would NEVER go back the that hotel.

We always stay here. Not anymore. They now have pets staying. Multiple dogs barking all night running up and down the hall. People slamming doors laughing rowdy all night between 11pm-5am. Staff did nothing. Had to change my room because there were stains on the mattress and left over food on the nightstand behind the lamp. All they said was they will let the manager know. There are homeless people in the parkade and all around the area.

Old, small rooms, too pricey for what you get, tap leaks in shower , small bathroom, bar fridge was wet in top section, parking garage unsafe, security guard doesnt move from his spot had to ask him to check out parking garage, over charged for early check in.
