"Accomodation had been double booked. Instead of cancelling the booking from their end the host messaged me on trivago, since I was expecting a message anyway for the login code, and you have to login to read messages I left it. Host also alerted trivago it was double booked, who did not contact me either. Drove all the way to Dunedin with 2 kids, stranded and nowhere to stay. "What a wonderful stay in Dunedin! From the moment I arrived, the property had everything I could have wanted — nothing was missing. The location is absolutely perfect. Waking up to a stunning ocean view from the balcony was a real highlight, and stepping out for a morning/afternoon walk along the beach couldn't have been easier. It's also great to have coffee spots at both ends of the street — a lovely bonus whether you're heading out for the day or winding down in the evening. Great Italian restaurant close by - highly recommended. But the standout for me? The bath. After a busy day, sinking into a deep soak with the gorgeous bath salts provided was pure bliss. It's a small touch that made a big difference and really set this place apart. I'd highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Dunedin. It ticks every box — location, views, and those wonderful little extras that make a stay truly memorable."

"Great motel but the owner handed me a $40 fine just as we were packing up as I charged my PHEV car off the plug. $2-3 cost of power but apparently is a safety issue. Paid the fine but it’s not warned about anywhere online or in person. If I had known before hand I would have happily not plugged in. If I was concerned enough to have this (unwritten) policy about the safety of my guests, I would probably prevent that risk beforehand?"
