"Wir waren zwei Nächte im Mangrove Hideaway. Die Unterkunft ist liebevoll hergerichtet und die Zimmer und das Badezimmer schön. Leider gab es weder Frühstück noch ein Restaurant oder eine Bar in der Unterkunft, obwohl es so in der Beschreibung stand. Es gab bis auf einen winzigen Tisch mit zwei Stühlen keinerlei Sitzmöglichkeiten auf der Gemeinschaftsterrasse. Dementsprechend konnte man sich eigentlich nur im Zimmer aufhalten. Wir haben dann in einem netten Guesthouse in der Nähe gefrühstückt...

"Very quiet and relaxing resort at the very south point of Koh Chang. This saved us some 1,000 THB taxi fare because most of the snorkling boat tours departured from the pier about 1 km away. The staff was very proffesional and the included breakfast was excellent. We can highly recommend this place for tranquility and quiet but also to explore the rainforest just around the corner."

"The spa was ok and staff were friendly. BUT under no circumstances take the tour operators they supply. It took us 7 hours in an appalling old smelly van to get to Pattaya. I missed my flight and the driver was both aggressive and very rude. I was told it would take maximum 5 hours. There were no traffic jams but the van wouldn't go above 70kms an hour. The driver spent at least 5 hours of the 7 on the phone. We all agreed he was super rude. Disgusting journey and ended up costing me over 700...

The beachfront is more aesthetic as it's very rocky, so not the type of beach you can swim in or enter.     The road to Khiri Phet Waterfall on Koh Chang. Hidden in the Thai jungle, Khiri Phet Waterfall is a peaceful gem on Koh Chang. If you rent a motorbike to tour the island, I highly recommend making the trip to this waterfall. It's at the end of a tiny, unmarked, palm lined lane, along a jungle path, over a shin deep stream, through an abandoned rubber plantation and up a small rocky slope. The upper pit of the falls is very deep and has a strong back current, so unless you're a good swimmer, keep your feet on the ground. #outside #outdoor #thailand #asia #waterfall
