"Fantastic customer service from all the staff. Everyone we interacted with was pleasant, friendly and helpful. FYI: you can check bags if you arrive early/staying late after check out, but it costs $3 per bag and it's CASH ONLY, so have some cash with you to check bags. Probably the "largest" King room I've ever stayed in in NYC for the money ($247 average a night). My only real complaint was our window unit AC. It worked, but would freeze you during the night since it blows cold air directly at the bed. You couldn't pull the privacy screen down on the window because then it covered up the AC and you got no cold air at all. A little frustrating because I like a dark room to sleep, but we couldn't pull the shade down to make it dark or the room got too warm. GREAT elevator service and the hotel was packed ( it was NY fashion week and the hotel is adjacent to Sony Hall where a lot of events are staged so ALL the NYFW staff at Sony Hall were staying at this hotel). Never waited more than 30-45 seconds on an elevator. No kidding! 46th st in front of the hotel is a nightmare for transportation since there are several Broadway theaters in that block between 8th and 9th, so be aware. I travel to NYC for theater and great food (1 block down 46th street is Restaurant Row, you could literally go NO WHERE else to eat and get almost any type of food you wanted.) and I would definitely stay here again, just in a room without a window AC unit! 😜"
"If you want to be in the middle of one of the many aspects that make NYC unique this is the hotel for you. A lot of the staff were helpful and kind. I would book this hotel again."
"Located close to Times Square and Broadway shows, nice older hotel. Rooms small but adequate, queen bed with spring mattress, very pleasant and accommodating front desk staff"
"Everything was clean and the staff was very professional. Great hotel. If you want to be close to the action on Times Square, location is great. If you want less stimulation, an area away from Times Square may be better."
"Fabulous place so clean and modern too with a shower!!! In the heart of Times Square!! I'll do this again and again! With my grown granddaughter...who loves it as well!"
