"Our stay was not a happy one. We were there for my mother's funeral. The staff was very nice and offered their condolences. Our room was very nice, clean and comfortable. We booked a 1 King bed which came with a high mattress, being a short woman I had trouble getting into bed. The Hotel was at a great location with a nice variety of restaurants to choose from. "

"My husband and I have been travelling down from Canada to the southern States. This was definitely the nicest room from the motels we’ve rented so far. "I was surprised to learn that - not only did they offer a good complimentary breakfast, but they also provided a complimentary evening snack with cocktails. The main part of the building was beautiful (art deco), but the tower we stayed in looked a little run down. (At least the corridor connecting the two did). Overall, we really enjoyed the property and the easy access to the river walk."
