Drinks and food are way too expensive. Left resort every day to go to other beaches/resorts and drinks/food were half the price or less. Ate dinner off resort every night over 12 nights. Front desk staff are robotic with zero authority to make things easy (made me fill out paperwork for a 50 peso overcharge from the restaurant that wasn’t our fault! I had photo proof. The one positive is the servers around the pool area (Antonio) was superb. He has wonderful personality and takes pride in his work. Also Francisco at the bellman’s desk really stood out for his welcoming demeanor and tips on places to go. Seven of us in our group and no one will comeback.

My family of four had a great time at this resort. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised that the “garden view” penthouse also overlooks the ocean. The views surrounding the pool deck were stunning:) The staff are very helpful and so friendly and quick to fix any issues that we had during our stay. Overall, we had a great experience and highly recommend this resort!

Staff were great. We loved our view of the beach. The room was clean. We couldn't get our safe to work the entire time we were there so never got room service. The garbages were small. I did ask for them to come get the garbage and recycling one day and to provide more Cascade pods. The gal that stopped by the room gave a very surprised look and came back with a very large garbage bag. I should have done that a couple more times as the garbage made the room smell. They did have construction going on so that wasn't the best. Since Hyatt took over I feel like the place has gone downhill. We only recognized one staff member. Prices have also increased. Being told we couldn't have our own drinks near the pool and hot tubs was a bit ridiculous. I get it since we didn't want to spend a ton to have the all-inclusive package but we got our own groceries and paid the same as everyone else who stayed there. I bought a drink at the swim up bar and just kept the cup and refilled my drink in my room. $20 for poolside service for a hot dog was unreal. The food has also gone downhill. It took forever to get 6 tacos on Taco Tuesday and it wasn't even that busy. Gorgeous resort and views but it isn't what it used to be. My room wasn't ready and they said they'd text when it was and never did.

Aware I was charged about $60 EXTRA at check in . I’ve never been charged that much in check in ever and that was a huge surprise that I didn’t appreciate, def I would recommend to find a way to tell the guest before booking that they wil be charged that much. The food is mediocre and needs to leveled up. My bathroom shower was clogged when showering. Other than that the rest was absolutely stunning and perfect . Thank you

Lovely hotel, 6km from downtown so be prepared to Uber everywhere. Not a problem, just good to know. Downtown is party city and you don’t want to be there! Full kitchens so Uber over th Fresko and stock up. The hotel market is very limited but does sell water, wine and beer. We loved staying here and will go back.

The view is spectacular overlooking the pacific ocean, the experience did not work out since on Expedia the hotel is listed as all inclusive when in fact it is not. As expected the bill increased exponentially from there and once you are at the hotel and it has been paid you are trapped under those circumstances. The rooms were clean however smelled damp all the time and the property shows it's age by means of clogged bathtubs and failing sliding door locks. This is a small resort more suitable to families who wish to cook at the hotel, not right for the more sofisticated adult traveler.

The staff , especially Antonio, Crisol, and Arturo , made my stay very special. Beautiful spot to view the humpbacks all day long off in the distance. Small beach but teeming with tropical fish for snorkeling. Gear is free from the hotel. Food was fair to good , rooms were very clean but also tired , I understand Reno’s are on the way

Hot cold water didn't work in shower one side ONLY had hot (even though it was suppose to have cold it didn't adjust to cold) Bed was terribly HARD! Trip booked/paid in late summer and multiple requests for building 3 were made ( well in advance) but not accommodated! Its evident, Management at desk isn't willing to work with guests requests…. This was our 3rd time staying here and 1st time was by far the best experience but unfortunately, last two previous stays continue to disappoint. Not sure if we will give a 4th go especially when requests (well in advance) arent accommodated. Bar/pool staff, (Angel) and bell help, (Gabrielle) are best part of the stay here! This has been consistent and VERY APPRECIATED! Remodeling is now beginning for next 5 years!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. Having access to the beach and being able to take towels, beach chairs and sun umbrellas made the whole experience top notch. Even with restoration happening it was hardly noticeable. Glad the place is being kept up. So much staff to cater to anything we may have needed, with service being of high value. It being a secure property we felt safe and comfortable. The rooms were simply lovely, with everything we needed so we could relax and have a perfect holiday. Room was wonderful. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Great view from the oceanfront penthouse. Saw whales from the room every day. Beach was awesome, swimable every day we were there for 9 days. The snorkeling was very good right at the resort. Brought our paddle boards and paddled right from the resort with the whales. They had an SUV available that fit our group of 7 people ready every time I asked and fares were only slightly more than a 4 person Uber. Pools and hot tubs were awesome. Prices for drinks and food are very high. We got lots of uber groceries and some uber eats which was easy to arrange. The hotel staff was helpful with luggage carts to haul our orders to the room.

We had never been to Cabo before. The Hyatt looked very nice in pictures, so we thought, lets go! We were very impressed and pleased with this location for many reasons. The first few days we really didn't want to go anywhere, and we needed to just relax. There is a huge market about a half a mile away, uphill, but I need the exercise. We made breakfast in our room and enjoyed our view of the ocean from our balcony. Didn't hurt that there were whales everywhere putting on a show. They ham it up for the whale watchers, but I'm ok with that because they were easily visible from our balcony, and it was amazing to watch. Bringing binoculars next time, but they were only 150-200 yards away. The Hyatt had great dinners every night, and we took full advantage of it! We loved the food there!! Our waiter Arturo was great. For that matter, the whole staff was very nice. Always smiling and laughing with the guests, very friendly, and they seemed to be having fun at their jobs, but working hard at the same time. The bellboy Fernando was also especially nice to us. He delivered our bags, showed us our room, made sure we knew where everything was, checked out beach chairs and umbrellas for us, and always with a huge smile. We also enjoyed pool aerobics, a salsa lesson, and especially the cooking class with Chef Rodolfo that featured chsalsa, guac, and ceviche. The Chef taught us a lot and was really funny. Also, we got to eat large portions of everything. We can't wait to go back!

Room great. View spectacular. All staff friendly and wonderful. Low score because as soon as we arrived we were charged over $1000 extra taxes. That is sooo dishonest and will never come again.

Where to start. The staff are very friendly and nice. The sound of jack hammering and construction wasn’t my idea of relaxing. Infinity pool with view of the ocean was more of a less filled pool with view of plywood. Little things seemed to be in disrepair like our shower door not closing, the shower not working properly, the water pressure and temperature fluctuating wildly key cards not working etc. Activities and food/ drinks are expensive. 30$ Canadian for a margarita.

An excellent property with lots of options. Our villa had a wonderful view of the ocean and while it was a ground level room we were on the edge of a cliff with a view down to a rocky coast. Beautiful. Two large pools and two hot tub type pools plus bbq’s and a very well equipped exercise room made it very helpful and comfortable.
