"It is a great hotel"

"The property is so beautiful and unique, walking under the arches and around the fountains I felt like a medieval princess. The staff was mostly very professional, except our bellhop hung around our room and tried to sell us a tour with his friend. The restaurant was nice, but there is no included breakfast, so we ate in restaurants and coffee shops in the colonial center. It felt very safe walking around, but since it is a tourist center, the prices were pretty high. I would definitely come back here again next time I'm in Santo Domingo."

"Room was clean, staff was outstanding, especially Edward at doorman/bellman and Carolina, the banquet/wedding coordinator who did an outstanding job, not only with the wedding we attended, but with putting together the private dinner on the night prior to the wedding. The wait and bar staff were outstanding and attentive. The food and drink were better than I expected."

"We had a wonderful stay at Bahia Principe Grand La Romana. The property is extremely clean, lush, and truly feels like a little paradise. The staff are very friendly and always ready to help, and everything at the resort is well organized. The food and bar options were very good — plenty of variety and everything tasted fresh. Drinks were great and service was quick. The kids club was a huge highlight for us. We could leave our child for about 1–1.5 hours, and he was always busy with fun activities. He absolutely loved the mini disco, movie nights, and the little circus show in the evenings. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Housekeeping kept everything spotless. The beach is beautiful, very clean, and there’s lots of natural shade under the palm trees, which is perfect for families. Overall, this resort exceeded our expectations. It’s a peaceful, friendly, and well-run place — a great choice for a relaxing family vacation. "
