"I had reservations a week in advance because we were traveling for a wedding. When we went to check in to our hotel, the lobby was a mess, people were waiting to check in, and no one was out front to check us in. A lady finally came to help us about 20 minutes later. It appeared like she was running around trying to help with several issues because she was the only staff in the hotel. The lady in front of us was trying to cancel her booking because the hotel was dirty and the pool was nasty and murky. When we overheard her complaining, we asked the gal at the front of we can see our room before checking in since that was the other guest’s complaint. She let us look at the room first and to say it was nasty, wasn’t enough. There was hair on the bathroom floor, sink, and tub. When we checked the beds, there was pen all over the comforter like a kid did art work, and the sheets had multiple body fluid stains. When we were on the floor to check out the room, there was a family two doors down with two pit bulls barking and the family was yelling at their dogs. We went back to the front desk, the employee was helpful but she said we couldn’t get a refund because of the cancellation date was past. So I asked her if that policy applies if the hotel is nasty and not habitable. She asked the general manager and he said that not canceling was my fault even though the disgusting conditions was not my fault. This hotel deserves a zero rating and a health department check. "
