"This is a lovely throwback to the motels of old. Friendly and helpful desk staff. The rooms are very clean. The bed, well, I have slept in worse. It could stand updating. The amenities leave a bit to be desired - "conditioning shampp" is just no where as good and shampoo and conditioner. The towels are a little skimpy. The breakfast was, adequate. Some hard boiled eggs to provide a bit more protein would be good. Or maybe even peanut butter for the breads/ They had plenty of apples both days, and some very green bananas the first day - none the second day. "

"This place is a real gem. The grounds are lush and beautiful. The room is very comfortable. However, a few notes ... the chairs at the pool are the MOST uncomfortable chairs I've ever sat in. They are hard wooden slat chairs with no give at all. Also, the chairs on the patios in the rooms are the same hard uncomfortable surface. I would love it if they upgraded these chairs to be wicker or something that is more comfy. The only other issue is the lighting in the bathroom. This could be updated to something a bit more flattering and bright. Other than that, the Lemon Tree Inn is really great and the location is excellent. The Handlebar Coffee shop around the corner is wonderful. We will stay here again!"

"Very pleasant stay with friendly and helpful staff the stand out feature. Facilities were good, except the uncomfortable sofa bed ( although that was expected if I’m honest, just not something I’d want do again ) and the food we had at breakfast was outstanding as was the service. Only moan would be the entrance is almost impossible to see in the dark - poorly lit and no visible signage - so we sailed past it and had to go round the block - back on and of the freeway - when we arrived."
