The included breakfast is amazing. Even though there are people at the bar, it is not that loud that you could not fall asleep. The room is so clean and the staff is more than helpful because they are happy to help you at all time.

The Royal Oak is a great old inn, with a well-stocked bar and excellent food. Terrific ambiance, inside and out, including outdoor dining options, The hosts were helpful and charming, going out of their way to make us feel welcome and helping me fix a scheduling hiccup too. And there are two friendly pub cats! Super convenient location in the center of picturesque Lostwithiel, not far from the train station, though you do have a bit of a hill to climb. It was picture-perfect. Best of all, the rooms were cozy and well-equipped, bathrooms clean, and the bed was to die for! Like snuggling into a cloud! I will make a point of coming back to this wonderful inn.

Had friendly welcome. Room excellent. Food available throughout the day. Entertainment at the weekend. Best breakfast ever. Lovely to walk around the town and visit the museum. Would recommend this pub for a long or short stay.
