"Ample parking, friendly reception staff, a very dated hotel, disabled stairlift out of action between reception and bar / restaurant area. Room 109, 24” TV, remote control battery cover gaffer taped up, pixelated picture, reception notified, they changed the co-ax cable and handset, but no real improvement in picture quality. Bedside light did not work, bulb replaced by staff, still didn’t work, so given a freestanding bedside light. Bathroom radiator didn’t work, and couldn’t be turned on, both sink and bath plugs, rubber type, discoloured, as pop up wastes were missing, bathroom extractor fan covered in dust. Restaurant staff overworked, 1 member of staff, trying to setup for a business function as well as trying to keep up with refilling cooked breakfast items. Tablecloths not changed when table had been reset, baked bean sauce stains on the tablecloth. and napkins missing from the table. Definitely wouldn’t return."
