"From the moment we arrived to handing the room keys back on departure we were made to feel welcome by the host / the owner.
No issues, good knowledge of where to eat, excellent breakfast, best coffee, excellent bakery items from the local bakery next door.
Even let me leave my car outside after departure whilst we looked around the beautiful town.
Mayenne is a lovely place, a very relaxing atmosphere with lovely views overlooking the river."
"People were nice
Bit disappointed top bed wasnt made although we Booker for 3
A kettle in the room would be appreciated
Good idea about the sports equipment"
"Breakfast exceptional. Staff so helpful. Very easy to take our dog and rooms perfect for our children as adjoining. Fun swing for our boys in the lovely gardens. Rooms very modern, well appointed, well designed and clean."
"At first there was a bit of a mixup regarding accommodation but the owner went out of her way to rectify the situation & was more than helpful. Had a very nice meal at a local restaurant Contine. The breakfast which was included was very good with home made preserves etc. Parking on the street wasn't a problem at all. Would recommend staying in this beautiful historic small chateau. Thank you."
"This appears to be a re-badged Campanile hotel which has just had Campanile signs changed to Design Inn. As such it provides good basic, no frills accommodation. The one difference with Campanile is that this hotel does not provide dinner but is very close to a Buffalo Grill which is conveniently located for dinner. There were various places where old Campanile signs had been removed but not well repaired so it gives the impression of not being well cared for. The staff were very helpful and found a secure place to store my bicycle. The breakfast was fine without being exceptional."
"Clean room, comfy bed and good shower. Free parking and Wifi. Reception staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Delicious breakfast with good choice of food.
Good location for supermarket, fuel and exploring local countryside."
