"People were friendly and welcoming got me right in after a inconvenience with another hotel and bugs very thankful for that"
Best Western Athens Inn
8/10 Good
"The room was clean and had a microwave and a fridge. There was a minor problem with the room we were given, so the lady switched us to another room. She did not make us go back down to get the new room cards. Instead, she brought them up to us, which was very nice of her. I chose Best Western because of the brand, but I guess I didn’t realize that they had motels, as well as hotels. There were lots of options for breakfast, but not some of the ones that I have normally seen. It’s a safe place to stay for a good price. The only complaint I have is that the Housekeeper knocked on the door at 8 AM and woke us up, but I guess we failed to hang a tag on the door."
Red Roof Inn & Suites Athens, AL
10/10 Excellent
"Need to do better job on cleaning parts but other than that all good."
Clarion Inn Sheffield Muscle Shoals
10/10 Excellent
"The place was perfect. Nothing fancy. Clean rooms, friendly staff, comfortable beds, good water pressure. OK, so the couch in our room was terribly uncomfortable, but we'll definitely stay here again next year for ShoalsFest."
Comfort Suites Florence Shoals Area
10/10 Excellent
"I was in Florence for a music festival at the macfarland park. The hotel was in a great location with many restaurants and stores around. The property felt very safe and any staff I encountered were friendly and welcoming. The room has great space, a comfortable bed, excellent shower. My only negative comment is but about the hotel it's the city. Florence does not have hardly any rideshare vehicles, even after the festival, Saturday, at 10:00 pm... crickets. Just know that and you are good."
