"The room and the whole place is clean and very well maintained. It’s a relaxing and cozy place to stay and we definitely plan to go back in the future. Some staff are great some are not. Breakfast is good but Fairfield and Illini Inn and Suites have better selections. But the comfort at I Hotel is excellent and is not comparable to the two places mentioned with better breakfast. So if possible I would definitely still choose I Hotel for our future stays in Champaign."

"Super clean hotel, room was on the smaller side but very comfortable. Shower worked well and had ample hot water. Appreciated the fridge and microwave in room and the breakfast options. Would definitely stay here again when in the area, as it’s just a short drive from the UIUC campus."

"We had a room reserved here, but did not stay due to the rudeness of the front desk help. All I said was that I was surprised about the pet fee since it was not clearly listed on the hotels.com site like others were. I had chosen this hotel because others said they HAD pet fees, but this one only said pets allowed. When I questioned the pet fee, the manager very rudely told me it WAS listed on the site, and she would find it and show it to me! I told her I had not seen it on the site, and she said you don’t have to stay here! I can cancel the reservation and you can go elsewhere! There was no need to escalate the situation. I had my card out and was willing to pay the fee. We don’t typically travel with pets, so this was a surprise to us. There was no need for such rudeness!!!! It’s a shame because the hotel was a lovely place!"
