Best thing about Luang Phasouk was the location. Close to everything we wanted to do - shopping, massage, markets, scooter rental. Our main gripe was the room was incredibly small, and that’s saying a lot for me because i’m only 1.55m and 45kg. Also, you can smell the sewage from the toilet sometimes.

I really wanted to be able to write a good review about this hotel because it’s in a great location close to the river and the night market and main tourist street in Luang Prabang but sadly it’s next to a temple, the temple has dogs and the dogs bark all night. Three out of four nights I was either kept awake or woken in the early hours. It’s a real pity they can’t sort this out.
The hotel is clean and comfortable with nice hot showers and clean bedding although two of the four nights I was there the room wasn’t changed on a morning.

It was within walking distance to so many venues on a quiet road. I had booked for three nights but decided to stay another three nights. A perfect place to stay.
