"The buffet breakfast was reasonably extensive and sumptuous, siialr to other properties in its class. The staff was superb, uniformly polite, helpful, experienced and kowledgeable. If you expect to have climate control you will be horribly disappointed. The a/c is centrally controled even though there is a therostat in the rooml. The Merbure chain has a policy of not turning on the air conditioning at all until May 1, and then only having it available unitl outside temperature has dropped below 18 C (64 F). The room can bake during the day and my room was stil at 24 C (75 F) long after the outside temp had fallen below 18. Sleeping was not comfortable."

"This is an urban, kind of seedy area of town. But the hotel is nice inside. Shower is open to the room with glass doors, which was fine for my husband and I but would be weird with friends. Room is very bare bones, and there was no top sheet on the bed? But two duvets? Breakfast is 16 euro, we did not partake. We used the parking garage around the block, and the front desk validated our ticket for us. That also cost $16. Air conditioning not an option in May."
