"Well, Expedia wrote $5 city tax at booking time, the host charged CHF 11.50 ($15!) right before the stay. Even worse, to be paid either by a weird local swiss payment system or paypal. Nothing else, no cash no credit card. Not great at all. Also quite noisy apartment. Otherwise clean and ok. "

"This was one of the best rentals I have ever stayed in in my life- and I have travelled a lot! Often when you rent a place, upon arrival you discover that the photos were taken at a misleading angle, or that something about the place is not really as nice as it was spelled out to be. "Happy rentals ends up unhappy, I tried to upgrade what I booked because I need to work remotely. It’s was totally inflexible, event for un upgrade was not possible. I prefer to avoid Happy rentals."

"Thought staff service, property, and cleanliness were excellent. Small things to improve: We had a wonderful room, however, the shower was a tub shower and it was a deep tub so stepping in and out was precarious- could have used a grab bar at the back of the shower. We also had a nice patio but the table on it was very small - would be good to get a slightly larger table. Breakfast was good but the scrambled eggs did not taste like eggs- I think because there may have been a lot of cream in them. You could order an omelette/frittata for a good bit extra. Also, they never had any berries for fruit, but you could order them separately for 18 francs!! We only had a hamburger for dinner there but the reviews on the restaurant were not good. Most people said great service, food was overpriced and not that good. "

"We stayed here one night with our toddler and it was great, very clean very easy to get too! No great views out the window but that’s totally fine for our over night stay Staff was friendly and gave us a crib for our toddler and allowed us to turn on the AC unit because with the windows open we had a couple of mosquitos"
