Overall a good stay, the location was brilliant for walking to town and getting transport. However, hidden costs involved such as cooking equipment and cleaning equipment. Air con was a hit or miss, overall a little pricey but generally okay.

It is only 15mins walk to city center and hotel will also provide city pass for tourist for free. You can take a bus to connect to town, too. If you are on the road trip, hotel will provide parking area with additional charge. And also can pay for cooking set.

Rarely do I give a bad review, but this Hôtel warrants one. First, Expedia states shuttle available (for a fee) and that is not the case. This is really a step up from a hostel. Bare minimum. We booked a queen bed, got a double. This hotel is for those looking for a bed to sleep and shower. The staff were great- helpful.

Basic property about a mile from the train station in Lugano with limited dining options nearby. Our room had 2 beds and a small kitchenette with almost no dishes (so if you want to actually use the kitchenette you’ll need to bring your own). The stay was comfortable for the price, but rooms are on a busy street so it gets quite loud if a window is open. I would not recommend this stay to light sleepers!

We stayed at this hotel for one night on our journey from Lake Como to Zurich. Website information is little misleading that this location is walkable to Lugano train station. But its 1.5 km from station, but there is bus stop opposite to the hotel. This looked like apartment coverted to hotel. very basic ameneties. Hotel staff was good and provided details for late check in, but did not give correct details about bus in the morning to go to train station. One couple helped us in the morning with bus details and we were able to reach station on time to catch 6:35 am train. It is very hard to find cab in this area. Bus is preferable, so please make sure you have enough details about bus schedules. I would not recommend this hotel until you have very short stay to catch an early train.

One of the worst places I've ever stayed. Rooms urges a deep cleaning and remodelation. The walls in the room are very dirty and full of stains.

Very small for three people. Seemed very damp. The location was good. 15 minute walk to the centre of the city or the bus stop was right outside the hotel. Staff were friendly. Very expensive place to eat.

Tatty and poorly furnished - would not recommend.

A tatty and careworn ‘hotel’. Poorly furnished and poorly equipped. The advertised ‘kitchenette’ had a kettle and a microwave, but NO utensils - but they could be hired for CHF15….!!! We didn’t bother. The picture in the advert bore no resemblance to our room. We were disturbed throughout the night by party-like noise from another room on our corridor.
