"Very happy with Icon. Entrance and access were convenient and easy, location very good, with bus stops within a 2-3 minute walk, the Lido/Cassarate area only 12-15 minute walk, and downtown only a 20-minute or so walk. The building was modern, and accommodation was very nice. Murphy bed very comfy, good kitchen and a very good bathroom with a rain showerhead. Nothing but nice things to say...we really loved it! "

"The staff was wonderful. Carolina, the evening manager, was very kind, knowledgeable and helpful to us! The brkfast buffet was excellent, as were the gals managing it. The dinner menu/ food was also excellent. The room was nice wth a view of the lake. Good location down the street from busstop. Quiet area away from the bustle of Lugano Ctr. Would recommend!"

"There is no elevator and our room was on the third floor. One of the staff brought our luggage upstairs however next day we had a train in the morning for Como. Staff outright said there will be no one in the morning until 9 or 10 am to help bring down luggage. There is no taxi available and she insisted we take the bus to train station which was about 9 km . It was very frustrating as we are senior citizens. After a lot of back and forth she agreed to arrange and she did. The taxi driver would bring luggage down and drop us to the train station. We were told to tip him for that gave him 20 dollars. Taxi was over 100 dollars If you are not young please do not stay at this hotel…. It’s very inconvenient."

"Celebrated my birthday with friends at the hotel with a long spa weekend. Relatively easy to get to- Lugano Station has plenty of taxis or uber availability if you don't want to wait for the bus. All the staff were lovely and very accommodating. Beautiful views and a lovely spa. Treatments were also great. The Bar/Bistro was particularly nice to unwind in to have a drink and get food."
