Super good locale to the square of Gonzales with museums, historic homes and restaurants. Rooms was comfy and clean. enjoyed the short walk way up stairs, but elevator is an option.

Great stay for a weekend getaway

Nice hotel, centrally located near to shopping and dinning. My husband and I had a pleasant stay for our anniversary weekend getaway. Would stay here again.

What a charming place for the price, exceeded my expectations by far for a fast overnight stay. Two huge and comfy beds in a cute western vibe, loved it! Just note to call ahead if you are about to check-in late, I almost missed that one.

Cute historical inn. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Italian restaurant downstairs is delicious! Odd that they did not have a desk clerk but it was never an issue.

Three staff to check me in twice. No one ever smiled. No welcome to the property. Some stole the hair dryer from room. Window was seven feet off the floor. Tv was on wall 90 degrees left of bed. No lighting for reading in bed or chair. Thermostat did not control room. Set to 73; room was 69. Door not sealed to hallway. Water way way too hot; scalding. Room was not arranged optimally for tv location. Bed was terrible. Sheets low quality. Very surprised property was not better and people were not friendly. I loved Gonzales, but can’t even stay in this place again.

My girlfriend and I loved our stay at the Dilworth. Our room was clean and spacious. The location was perfect, right on the square. And the Italian restaurant at the hotel was delicious. The owner and staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. We can’t wait to visit again!

The property was beautiful boutique style facility in a historical building and was maintained, very clean . The staff was helpful and informative of the area. Was mildly disappointed that we booked a room with a single queen and were placed in a room with 2 beds.

Quaint and Cozy

The Dilworth Inn was a cute and quiet quaint inn on the square in Gonzales. We requested a second floor room away from the elevators and we were accommodated with that request. The staff is not on duty 24/7, but you can call them and they will respond quickly to address your needs or concerns. We will definitely stay there again.

Unique hotel in an old building right downtown

This is a really unique hotel and in a great location if you are visiting downtown Gonzales. It is right on the square in a really old building. However, it has been restored in a way that feels fresh but still has charm. Very affordable and convenient. Service might be one knock just because they do not have dedicated front desk staff, but that is really only needed for check-ins.

The hotel is very cute and was perfect for a 1 night stay in Gonzales. It’s in walking distance of everything! We did have some minor issues like the water wouldn’t drain in our bathroom shower, the towels could be updated only because you can tell they’re very old and the water faucet in the bathroom sink had very low water pressure. These minor things didn’t have an affect on our stay and we’d stay again. The coffee bar is a huge plus!

Adorable and quaint

This hotel is adorable and it's right in the middle of a quaint and charming downtown. Service was friendly. It's a bit different than a usual hotel stay, and different from an AirBnB stay. The front desk isn't staffed full time, but someone is always available to help. The roon was very clean and nicely decorated. Lots of space and good furniture placement. My only complaint was the pillows on the bed. They're really thin and smashed kind of hard. Download a white noise app if street noise bothers you. Otherwise, great room.

There is never anyone at the front counter, one is instructed to call a number to get someone. There’s a phone sitting there, but that phone doesn’t work. I had to call 4-5 times to get someone to pick up the phone, and then I was told to go next door to the restaurant and get someone out of the kitchen to help me check in. The key I was given for my room opened the door, but it was someone else’s room. Someone’s personal possessions were laying all around. Once I got my room, it was tiny, but quiet and pleasant. There was no Continental breakfast, even though there seemed to be an area for one. There were coffee pods, but looked to be much depleted, minimal creamers— like it hadn’t been Refurbished in weeks. I would’ve loved to ask someone about it, but there was never anyone staffing the front desk. There was a water dispenser, which I loved.

The property is great. Awesome location right in the middle of town. The restaurant downstairs makes it very convenient to have dinner the first night you arrive.
