"The hotel overlooks Lake Pepin, so the location and view couldn’t be better. There are very few hotels in the area, which make this a gem, but a bit pricey for what it presents. The breakfast was good. The hot tub was lukewarm, but the pool was big. We had to wait for towels, as they were in the drier when we went to the pool. "

"Historical spaces inside the Hotel were fun to investigate and provided an insight into the history of the property and its role in the city of Red Wing. Restaurants onsite were very good. Proximity to AMTRAK makes for an interesting commuting option. Train noises were loud at times. Quirky property overall, mostly in a good way. Overall the rates are a bit pricey. That said we will likely return when we can get a deal."
