"Our stay at WOT was excellent… property was clean, the staff were excellent - friendly and helpful- the continental breakfast was great.. the beaches were close by - 5 min drive…and shopping as well - 15 min drive. Also our room had a kitchenette which we loved… with a beautiful spacious patio overlooking the pool.. loved it.."

"Great place to stay, in a fantastic location. Rooms and communal areas were immaculately clean, and the inside/ outside pool worked really well (retractable roof remained closed during our stay). Breakfast nice too."

"Very enjoyable stay in this hotel. Beautiful room in a perfect area. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Hotel located a 2 minute walk from the centre of the town and other bigger towns/cities are a short drive or taxi away. Would highly recommend this hotel and this town in general for anyone looking to have a quiet and relaxing holiday."

"This place it great and convenient for a quick stop either on a arrival or departure for the airport. We arrived at midnight and it only took 10 minutes to walk from the aiprot doors to the accommodation. Check-in was easy, instructions were clear, but leading up to the arrival, communication between owners/Expedia/myself could have been better as i had to chase all the details. The room itself was neat and clean. We were disappointed not to have a fan in the room as it was extremely hot....

"We loved our stay at Mercedes Country House! The staff is all so friendly, everything was very clean, the restaurant was amazing - we chose to eat there everyday, and the entire property is beautiful! We hope to one day make it back :)"

"We stayed one night. Hotel is a 12 minute walk to the airport. Staff was kind and friendly. They had continental breakfast but our flight out was earlier than the hours so we’d miss out on that. They asked when we’d plan on leaving and offered to prep us packed lunch. Sure enough it was ready at 4am, the time we had to leave the hotel. Such a great experience!"

"I think this hotel has the most comfortable bed and pillow for side sleepers! The bathroom was also the most gorgeous modern bathroom I have ever seen with copper/rose gold fixtures and has an amazing rain shower. The staff are very friendly. The breakfast was wonderful with many choices. The onsite restaurant Forno Nero was also great! And the rooftop pool with lounge is a must visit. It was also a nice touch for complementary car shuttle to the train station. So for sure, this is truly a 5 star hotel. Treat yourself!"

"Absolutely loved it - beautiful property, the staff are all super polite and friendly, the golf course is beautiful and the club house is very relaxed. A real mix of people staying here - noisy and buzzy family pool area with the option of the club house infinity overlooking the 9th hole, if you like quiet. Overall 5 stars"

"Remember to book the spa in advance, plunge pool not very deep and some of the jacuzzi jets not working, other than that it was fabulous. Roof top bar and pool also great. Monte Gordo a solid up and coming location, not over developed for tourism. Worth getting out the town to Tavira or other beautiful algarve coast line locations - roads very smooth for driving."
