"This was the worst place ive ever stayed in. I had a small room in a terraced house on a rough housing estate. The room needs painting & cupboard was broken. The lady didnt even come out the front room to say hi. The bathroom also needs upgrading. Doors didn't shut properly, so other people in the house had to slam them shut. "

"Brandon Lodge is a very comfortable, clean and tidy place to stay. We had a garden room and although it’s off of a main road it was very quiet. I slept very well. The breakfast was very nice with plenty of choice and the staff were extremely nice and helpful. We hope to stay again later in the year."

"The Celyn is located in an outstanding rural position. From the moment you arrive Sarah and Paul were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. "Rather a quirky place on the edge of Bristol. There is a bus stop right outside, very convenient, took about 40 minutes into city centre so no parking to worry about. Our room was rather dark with heavy wood and colour scheme, but well enough equipped, although there was a considerable amount of traffic noise. Tiny shower and diy breakfast (plenty of it). The owner was away but the gentleman who welcomed us was very friendly and chatty. This was not a luxury stay but fine for a stopover. "

"Great place and great host! We had a room at the top of the place and it was a bit noisy outside at around 10pm but after that we slept great. Our toilet wasn't flushed from the previous guests when we arrived but besides that the house was spotless. Charles was a very welcoming host and made us an incredible breakfast.
