Really close to border crossing, actually walking distance 15 mins if you don't have much luggage. Great breakfast selection. Large, clean and quiet rooms. Staff was exceptional, offered late check out because we arrived after dinner to check in and we looked so tired. .

This is a very bad location to stay if you are a tourist. Contradicting to what the hotel location showed, the actual location is at the other end of the main entertainment area where Grand Lisboa is. The surrounding area is a local neighbourhood and schools. Not for tourists. You will need a taxi to get out of the hotel, which, unfortunately, you will have to wait at least 10 mins if you are lucky as taxi don't usually come in. Hotel's free shuttle service to Border Gate is 50 mins interval. SANDS, which is at the main entertainment area has a 10 to 12 mins interval. Hotel staff are cold and you don't feel welcomed at all, and, I am on IHG Diamond Elite top tier status. I booked 4 nights and canceled without refund, after the first night. Rebook into Sands Macau, and the experience is fantastic!

Great hotel
Receptionist Shel was very warm and welcoming! Very helpful through out our 3 night stay there. Even though the property was a bit off the way but getting a ride wasn’t hard at all. All staff members were nice and helpful when needed. Highly recommend this hotel!

The location was a big out of the city centre and the shuttle bus provided by the hotel is insufficient. You need to catch public buses or taxi to go around. Also, hotel asked for $1,000 deposit when checking in, no matter if we already fully paid for our stay. I think it’s a bit too much.

Great mid-range priced hotel in Macau
If you are not a gambler and is heading to Macau to soak in the culture and history of the city as well as to avoid the craziness and high costs of staying in fancy over-the-top casino hotels, then this international chain hotel is an excellent choice for you. It is quietly tucked away in the older part of Macau, with all the standard amenities like heated swimming pool and a restaurant. The room including the bathroom is big and includes a small lounge with very comfortable bed and a very big walk-in closet too! I'm happy I chose Crown Plaza.
