"The room was nice and very affordable, nice quiet area and good security with the cameras and door codes. Very easy to book and travel to with bus stop down the street. The main issue was the other people staying there lacking hygiene and respect as whenever I used the toilet there was wee all over the seat. This is not the owners fault, but the other guests. Other than that it was very nice :)"

"The property is in a mid terrace house in a dilapidated part of town. It is either an attic or loft conversion with creaking wooden floor boards. To access the property, there is a steep and narrow winding stair case . The bathroom is en-suite but there was no working shower . "Lovely brand new hotel. Little bit tricky to find the entrance but once all the external building work is complete - won't be any problems. The room was lovely, massive bathroom and that bed was so comfortable! The staff in reception were very friendly and nice and were very accommodating with a late check out for us. Cracking location for the CO-OP Arena, the Etihad and the Joie Stadium - all within a few minutes walk."

"Don't be put off by the 1980s exterior, inside this hotel it's modern, spotlessly clean and well maintained. The room was lovely. Comfortable, modern and clean. Bed was comfy, bathroom immaculate. The spa facilities were less salubrious, more like a council leisure centre with noisy swimming lessons going on, as is often the way on a busy weekend morning, so maybe give them a miss. If you need a comfortable bed in a nice hotel at a good price, you can't go wrong with this hotel"

"Best spa set up I've ever been to. Head space and physical space yo 'breathe'. After long days out in Buxton and stoke on trent etc. It was beautiful to come back here. Breakfast was nothing special, same as any hotel. Why are all hashbrowns cold, deep fried triangles. Great location for park district or Manchester or other town visit. If you like to take bus/ land transit to do local areas DONT do it here. Local transit is very infrequent and we waited at stop and despite flashing down the once or hour bus, it flew part us anyway. Because of this we did not look/ explore in Macclesfield so missed the silk factory stuff for to the fact that there was not good transport locally. Bus to Buxton was great fun and best way to get there and back. Beautiful scenery fat driver... but if a free roller coaster ride... hold on tight! Safe and overall great place to stay."
