It’s a perfect little base for exploring since everything is within walking distance, but it still feels tucked away and private. "Inexpensive, basic, clean, no-frills, on-suite double room. Friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of free parking for residents. Ideal for a short break where you want to spend your money when you’re out and about – 12 mins walk from the Tower, Winter Gardens, Houndshill Shopping Centre, pedestrian precincts and Wetherspoons pubs. "Came for a 2 night stay, the breakfast was excellent, the guest house was ideally situated between the town centre and the Pleasure Beach. The owners were very friendly and attentive. The room was very clean and decorated well, there were lots of extras in the bedroom. They had there own private car park at a reasonable charge."
