Overnight stay. Easy check in and friendly staff. I did not have a problem but I was uncomfortable with how dark the parking lot was; Madison is sketchy. Bathroom had dispensers for hand lotion, shampoo and conditioner but not body wash. I saw the dispensers before getting into the shower but didn’t realize there was no body soap except the individually wrapped ones on the sink. I slept well but the mattress in my room was pretty rough; ok for one night but I wouldn’t want to spend more than one night. Clean and inviting breakfast room with a typical budget hotel breakfast.

6/10 Okay

Disliked: Cleanliness
The staff did not do a thorough job of cleaning the room. There were clothing items left in the closet from a previous guest, the microwave had dried food stains in it, and old food items were left in the refrigerator. The feel of the mattress was pretty awful and hard and there was noticeable chipped paint throughout the room and bathroom. But the staff was quite friendly and welcoming during check-in.

Crushed tortilla chips on our floors. The corners are dusty. Overall a good experience, but the cleanliness needed better attention to detail.

Quick check in, staff very helpful and extremely pleasant. Sheets on one bed were stained, cobwebs along ceiling, bathroom fan didn’t work, air conditioning cooled the room but it still felt damp. (Good for Colorado but not for Wisconsin) Mattress needed replacement, sink stopper in bathroom sink was missing. Exterior “security” door didn’t appear to lock. Other than that, we had a good night aleep

The family enjoyed the pool, other than the hot tub timer not working. The property is undergoing renovations, which are needed, but the staff was wonderful and made us feel welcomed.

Wonderful stay! The room was clean and comfortable. No weird smells, either. Didn't stay for breakfast, so I don't know how that was.
