Well, the hotel is at least 150 years old and they need to conserve the building the way it is for that reason there is no tv, or AC. Food was good. Rooms clean AC, food was good is.

The property is located in a very conscientious central area of Madrid. All major sites are walkable. There are plenty of good restaurant options. Also it is transportation hub with metro. Rail and other services easily available. You can also find coupe of hip on hop off stops closer to this location. Overall property was nice with decent amenities . Would recommend hotel to add breakfast offering

Glad it was just one night

I would not stay there again. Cons: room felt like a trap, too small and rundown, no air, windows would not open completely, bed was too soft, big stains in the furniture, strong smell of cheap cleaning products. Pros: location was where I wanted it, next to Puerta del Sol, and staff was nice.
