Red Roof Inn, Madrid hotels

"I didn't understand why I had to give a $100 deposit for "incidentals" that will be returned at check-out. I had already paid in full for the room for the night before I arrived. There was another notice saying that my credit card won't be credited for several days. This is extremely uncomfortable for my family since we are moving across country for this trip and are watching our money so we can have meals and hotels along the way. I suppose I would be more understanding if I did get my money...

"Quick overnight stay with our dog. The building had updated outside appearance and it was clean with friendly check in. The bed this time however needed a new mattress, you could feel the springs and heat them every time you moved. This is our usual go to spot to stay at when we travel north and don’t remember then being this bad. I would stay again but request a better bed."
