"This was an absolute gem of a find - an amazing property and fantastic services with a wonderful restaurant, spa, bar.
What makes it especially notable is the quality of the staff, every one of whom is attentive and friendly. We really felt like we had enjoyed a genuine mini break on our one night stay.

"We were greated by a lovely host, the room was great we had bunkbeds and a double bed. The kids loved the outside

"We had a great time at this property. It is a lovely old building with beautiful inner courtyards and an excellent restaurant. There is an
outdoor pool which my husband took advantage of and the hotel is located next to a spa. Unfortunately the spa is closed at the moment for renovations with no date given for reopening. The bedroom was well decorated and the bed extremely comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Bourbon L’Archambault is an interesting historical town and well...

Traditional stylish hotel with great staff
" One of the declining number of traditional 3/4 star village/small town hotels that are being replaced by the bland massive chains
The staff were brilliant, especially Head Waitor Luc who was charming, interesting and very helpful. The village with its castle is very run down with a large derelict hospital, numerous closed hotels and empty shops, but still worth a visit as a stop over."
